I Wish I Was There- another screening announcement!

Hello! It has almost been a month hasn't it?! My bad, but I have been busy working on my feature film pitch deck, as well as a new crochet garment, a lot of football, skateboarding (spring weather I love you, please keep this up) and a new (well, revisited) venture into clothes making- watch this space! So, I am working on things, but nothing yet finished enough to share on here thus far...

But, I am excited to announce another screening for I Wish I Was There, this time in Manchester! It is a curated film night hosted by Obscure Film, with a focus on disabilities, chronic illnesses and neurodiversity. And yes, mental health issues are a valid disability. It will take place at Cultplex (a super cool little indie cinema) on Friday 17th April, 6pm. Find out more and get your tickets here! Programme looks absolutely fantastic!

And I know it sounds like I'm having a fair few successes with my film in terms of screenings, but I'm not writing about any of the rejections I've garnered so far (which have outweighed the number of screenings/ selections). The rejection side of it doesn't really get any easier and you sort of become accustomed to it, yet for some reason it doesn't stop me from hoping. Which is both a good thing and a bad thing I guess. Anyway, shan't dwell on this for too long... xo
